“An excellent course. Thorough and engaging which outlines and encourages adoption of best practice. A must for anybody who works or leads others in the outdoors. Wish it had been around when I was younger. Should be an essential part of all outdoor NGB courses”.
Richard Retallick
RYA Instructor & Mountain Leader
“I really enjoyed the course, it helped remind me of my responsibilities and to be explicit in my role modelling as a coach. I learned several new things to apply in my outdoor sessions, and found the UV index a really big help. I am more sun aware and as a result, so are my players”.
Chris Chapman
Learning Experience Manager, UK Coaching
“This excellent resource is well set out and informative – a great reminder of things we need to keep in mind, as well as useful new information. Even with the unreliable British summer there are simple steps we can put in place to protect those in our care!”.
Allan Smith
American football coach, PaddleSport Instructor and a walking leader, Welfare Officer Manchester Little Devils
