Rosie Muggeridge

Rosie is a former Southampton and Dorking Wanderers player, joining the Hastings United women’s team (the ‘U’s) in their 20/21 season.

With a longstanding background in sport, both coaching and playing, she fully understands the importance and relevance of sun protection in sport, particularly due to the long training sessions demanded in football.

As well as a footballer, Rosie is an outdoor activity enthusiast and is keen to use her profile and experience to raise awareness of melanoma and other forms of skin cancer.

“With ever-increasing rates of skin cancer, it’s so important for sportspeople to generate good habits. It’s easy to opt for a tan and I see this a lot, however, this isn’t healthy in the long term. This is a cause close to my heart and I’m delighted to be involved in spreading awareness and advice within my sport.”
