Megan Brickwood

Megan sails the 49er FX as part of the British Sailing Team training toward the 2024 Paris Olympics.

As a youth sailor, she won the 420 Worlds along with other medals at both world and European events. Megan is up against the elements during training, but even during rest periods loves to be outside and active. Megan agreed to become a Sunguard as she has lost family members to melanoma.

“I am keen to raise awareness and set an example to a younger generation. Sporty youngsters tend to make sporty adults and the potential for accumulated UV exposure is huge, but it need not be risky, as thankfully with protection, skin cancer is mostly preventable.”
