Ambassadors

Holly Calvert

LETAS Golf Tour Professional and Founder of MHC Sports Massage.

“As a golfer, sports massage therapist and former coach, I meet so many people in this sport who underestimate the sun and neglect to protect their skin, which is a big mistake. The role of ambassador will provide me with a fine excuse to remind people to cover up”.

As a playing professional amateur, Holly represented Lancashire Ladies 1st team and won numerous county trophies as a junior. Her best result was 2nd in the LETAS Costa Blanca Ladies Open, and in 2006 Holly finished third in the Grand Final of the Faldo Series at Celtic Manor.

It all started in 2007 when Holly got offered an International Golf Scholarship at Stirling University, alongside studying for BA in Sports Studies and Spanish. Holly went on to win for Stirling University, the 2nd flight stage of the prestigious Ion Jones Doherty Women’s Matchplay Championship in Florida in 2009 and competed on the Orange Tour in Florida.

Holly has a Sports Degree and an MSc in Performance Analysis of Sport and used this knowledge in her work as a coach at Altrincham Golf Club where she started a successful junior section. She has also coached at the prestigious Roehampton Club in London, with a focus on increasing participation in women’s golf. Since leaving coaching, Holly has played numerous events on the Ladies European Access Series, and thoroughly enjoys competing around working full time.
